  • Lenten Outreach

    For our Lenten Outreach we want to help the people that use EBT cards to purchase their food. There are numerous items that are necessary that the card does not cover. Each Sunday, we would like to collect the following items:
    Sunday, Feb. 25 Trash bags
    Sunday, March 4 Dish soap and food storage bags
    Sunday, March 11 Laundry detergent
    Sunday, March 18 Kleenex
    Sunday, March 25 Toilet Paper.
    These items will all be taken to the Mishawaka Food Pantry where they can be distributed.

  • Adult Lenten Study - Scarred by Struggle, Transformed by Hope
    Wednesdays in Lent, 7:00 pm

    During Wednesdays in Lent, the Adult Forum will discuss the book Scarred by Struggle, Transformed by Hope by Joan Chittister. Outlines for each meeting are available in the church.

    Friday, March 23, 6 pm

    Join us as we pray the stations of the cross in preparation for Holy Week.

  • Holy Week and Easter Service Schedule

    March 25: Palm Sunday
    The Liturgy of the Palms and Holy Eucharist, Rite II with hymns, 8 am and 10 am

    March 28: Contemplative Evensong, 6:00 pm

    March 29: Maundy Thursday
    7:00 pm Service with foot washing and Holy Eucharist. The Church continues in vigil at prayer throughout the night (sign-up sheet in the back of the church).

    March 30: Good Friday
    Noon to 3 pm (Meditations on the Seven Last words of Christ, Veneration of the Cross and Communion from the Reserved Sacrament), followed by coffee, tea and hot cross buns in the Parish House

    March 31: Holy Saturday
    10 am service followed by times for Reconciliation of a Penitent until noon.

    March 31: The Great Vigil of Easter
    The lighting of the Paschal Fire in the Memorial Garden begins at 8:30 pm. A party follows the Vigil service in the Undercroft (Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. Please bring your favorite hors d'oeuvre or dessert to share.)

    April 1: Easter Sunday
    Holy Eucharist 8 am and 10 am (Rite II with hymns at both services). Egg hunt for children following the 10 am service.
